Design Story

Inside that circle, a leprechaun in a shamrock-patterned waistcoat leans on his cane, spinning a basketball on one finger, a red Santa hat tipped over his grin. He is not mid-action. He is posing, and that relaxed confidence is the whole mood of the piece. Around him the surface reads as thousands of tiny faceted stones in green, red, white and black, arranged into candy-stripe diagonals, falling snowflakes and a scattering of crystal sparkle. Below the emblem, a banner of readable type anchors the lower third, finished with a single bright shamrock. The handle carries the same striped treatment, and a small round shamrock pendant hangs from it in gold.
